Samantha is the Co-Founder and the Head of the Marketing and Operation of Marmot Finance.

Samantha has over 8 years of experience in management consulting and finances in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Prior to Marmot, Samantha worked at Monitor Deloitte and advised corporates and startups from financial services, consumer & retail, and high tech on business strategy and operation. Her expertise includes growth, customer-centric strategy, go-to-market, digitalization and M&A strategy. Additionally, Samantha was responsible for business development of the Consumer Products & Retail sector for the German market. She supported sector executives in strategy execution and daily operation. Prior to Monitor Deloitte, Samantha worked at Bain & Company and PWC in Germany, as well as Forbes Private Capital Group in Hong Kong.

Samantha is passionate about entrepreneurship and impact investing. During her studies in the United States, she co-founded a Funding Accelerator to support startups and micro-enterprises in Oklahoma. The accelerator advised founders and small business owners on business plan and strategy, as well as provided financing solutions to social impact projects through its funding partner. Today, Samantha still coaches startups and small businesses in her free time.

Samantha is a Hong Kong-born global citizen who has lived in 6 countries and 3 continents. Among which, she studied at the United World College of Adriatic in Italy with students from over 80 countries. United World Colleges is an international network of schools with the aim to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Her time at UWC forms the basis of her interest in diversity, equality, and sustainability. Combined with her passion for female empowerment and investment, Samantha is aspired to empower women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to use investment as a tool to achieve their financial goals and ultimately financial freedom.
